Barbicide is a disinfectant solution used by barbers and cosmetologists for disinfecting grooming tools such as combs and hair-cutting shears. Manufactured by King Research, it was invented in 1947 by Maurice King and marketed heavily around the United States by his brother James.

A barber has to sanitize and disinfect his haircut tools every time, in between every customer. You want everything you use on your client to be clean, with no exceptions. It's also the law!

Clipper Sprays: Having an all-in-one clipper spray is excellent for disinfecting quickly and cooling your clipper's blades before using them again. Turn the clippers on, hold the can a few inches from the blades, and spray lightly. Let the clippers run for a few seconds. Turn off the clipper and wipe the excess off.
